We adopted Cisco from the Boulder Valley Humane Society when he was 8 years old. He had been with one family since he was a baby, so coming to live with us could have been an adjustment for him. Typical of his personality the entire time he was part of our family, he adjusted seamlessly. We had a one-year-old cat, Chloe, who tolerated him, but both of them knew who ruled the roost, and it wasn’t Cisco! He was the most mellow, loving, and increadibly sweet and friendly kitty I’ve known, and to lose him so unexpectedly was heartbreaking. He always greeted us at the door with a little chirp, and he purred so very loudly when you would just look at him. I will forever remember this little black kitty who brought so much laughter, joy, and companionship to my family, I love you, buddy. RIP, Cisco.
